Founded in 1997, SouthCrop's team of professionals has more than 25 years of producer experience - growing cotton, soybean, corn, rice and kenaf in the Mississippi Delta. In addition, they have several years of nursery experience. Principals Brent and Gabriela (Gaby) Brasher understand agriculture and inject their experience in helping farmers develop Risk Management Plans. Brent holds an M.A. and B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Mississippi State University. Gabriela holds an M.S. and B.S. in Agronomy from Mississippi State University. They are actively involved in Mississippi Farm Bureau, Tallahatchie Farm Bureau and Mississippi State University.
